The wildland firefighting community is mourning the loss of Nicholas “Nick” Hutcherson, a 27-year-old U.S. Forest Service firefighter from Glendale, Arizona, who died while responding to a wildfire near the Colorado-Utah border that later became part of the Snyder Fire.
